When do the rates change?
Tamiami Village is on a fiscal year starting May 1st and ending April 30th. The new rate schedule starts on May 15th.
Are Monthly Maintenance Fees Mandatory?
Yes, fees are mandatory and paid on a monthly basis. ACH service is available for those who would like to have it.
What is the trash schedule?
Trash is picked up on Friday starting at 7:30 a.m. After completing the trash pick-up on Friday, the recycles and cardboard will be picked up. Please have your trash on one side of your driveway and your recycling and cardboard on the other side. Horticulture and construction debris will be picked up on Thursday starting at 7:30 a.m. To see the complete trash procedure, please go to tamiamicommunity.com, Association Documents and Forms and choose “Village”, then documents. How long does it take to complete the background check and estoppel paper work?
Up to thirty days. Every effort is made to complete all of the required paperwork as soon as possible. Estoppels will only be prepared within thirty days of closing.
Am I required to pay rent or land use fees for recreational or other commonly used
facilities? Your monthly maintenance fees cover the use of commonly used facilities.
There may be additional charges if you wish to reserve one of the Halls for your exclusive use.
Do I have to be a member of any other association?
There are no other associations you have to join.
Are “Application for Residency Forms” required even if a person rents for one month?
Yes, for all first time rental guests staying in the Village. Return rental guests do not have to have background checks done once the first one is completed. The application fee is $100 and is non-refundable.
Is the association or other mandatory membership association involved in any court cases in which it may face liability in excess of $100,000?
